3-Dimentional architectural features and effects: Also know as Trompe L'oeil.  (note fake wall corner insets detailed in the picture to the right). Can include Dentils, Entry Gates, Faux Window openings, realistic bricks, stones or marble, columns & roman banisters, faux marble statues, etc.

Faux finishing adds warmth, depth,  and texture to walls. In some cases, it can minimize unsightly wall imperfections; such as uneven ceiling lines, stains, and plaster repair marks. Faux finishing also includes marbleizing, bronzing, fake stone and bricks, and paper wall treatments. Venetian plaster is a popular choice above fire place sections and is done with an authentic layered plaster treatment and smoothed for a warm sheen.

Decorative painting is sometimes done as an accent around cabinetry, entry arches, doorways, and ad geometrical abstract wall trims. Decorative painting can also be done on furniture; such as dressers, fire place grates, chairs and wooden stool seats.
