Egyptian Fresco Relief Panel

Hand Crafted on a 3 foot x 6 1/2 (36 inches x 80 inches) foot, hollow wood door panel by Nancy R. McCarter. One of a kind original done in the unique fresco-relief style originally developed by this artist. Large and small discs are done in gold leaf foil.  Museum black edges around fresco edges and back.   ((edges and back can also be custom painted to match your decor at no extra charge)

This piece is a partial replica of the King Tutankhamen Chair in the Egyptian Museum of Cairo. Depicting King Tutankhamen and Queen Ankhesenamon. In the picture in the back of the original chair back, the young King rests an arm on the back of his chair, while his wife, Ankhesenamon, sweetly  holds out a loving hand towards him. Above the King and Queen, shining from a central sun-disc, are the hands of the life-giving rays of the Aten.
